Running Boards cheap & sporty :) new mod
The more and more i kept on seeing X5's with running boards, the more i thought of how it made the car look less sleek and not as sport.. or that might be just my opinion, but it seemed like the were way to big and way to bulky for my taste.. but at the same time, i liked the aluminum underneath the doors, something that my little plastic ugly trim pieces needed..

While browsing the bimmian website, i found these

this is the finished result. i dunno how good it looks in the pics, but in real life its perfect and i love it!!

P.S; those are also phone pics ill take better pics next time. deff the pics dont do justice to this mod

Looks nice, however, once dirt and other stuff get into the holes, it will be a pain to clean.

ya i have thought bout that since it was mentioned in earlier posts bout these running boards.. i do have the karcher commercial/home pressure washer with enough "umph" to clean my wheels, im sure it can clean those holes, we'll see

They're NOT running board if they're stick-on...more like panels. Better be careful as your passengers may actually treat them as running board by stepping on them (be ready to buy real running board or a new set of panel when they do!). The OEM plastic bottom side panels have NO support and are NOT meant to be use as running board.

Very nice and an ideal mod for cars with spats such as your 4.8is and of course the 4.6is.
