Wheel Question...

I have a 2004 BMW X5 4.4i with the Star Spoke 132's. I would really like to swap them out with new Star Spoke 87's. I like the width and look of that wheel/tire combo on the 4.8's.

My question is this... Will I have any fitment issues with rubbing or anything putting that wheel/tire on the 4.4i? I dont see why I would it looks to be pretty much the same but just wanted to know.

Is everyone in agreement that the stance of the wider profile (315's) in the rear is a substantial diffrence when it comes to the Star Spoke 87's vs the 132's?

Also is anyone wanting to sell their OEM Star Spoke 87 wheels?

You won't have any rubbing issues. The 315s will stick out a bit if you don't have the 4.8 fender flares, some people like the look, some don't.

Did you try doing a search? I know couldn't decide between the 132s and the 87s. I went with the 132s on my 4.4. There are plenty of pics somewhere.

EDIT - Here's what the 315s look like without the flares

I think you'll be alright if you don't get those fender flares, Laura.

Fit on either/any is fine; look is your pref.

Patience! This isn't Ask.com.

A lil' digging on your part, in "Search" and,
looking at pics in the Gallery, will show
you many view, options, etc.

LOL. Actually I looked for about the last hour or so and didnt see any definitive posts on if there are any fitment issues with this setup. I saw a ton of people asking and compaing the 87's and 132's but nothing definitive.

Thanks for the info...

The wheels on 4.8is are style 168 not 87. No fitment issues.

Just snap them right on there. You can even use the same lug nuts.
