Rear View Camera

Well I just purchased a rear view camera which also has nite vision. I'm going to install it this week and hopefully it will fit neatly where I removed the rear wiper. I'm also going to make up a plug so I can fit it to the rear wiper power supply which means, I will be able to switch the camera on and off at my own leasure by simply switching the rear wiper power on or off like before on the wiper stalk...... I'll get it photographed and do a write up as soon as its done.

Don't think the rear window wiper can be continuously on

I know, but you want to use the wiper's power supply to switch on the rear view camera right?
This power supply would probably be as intermittent as the rear wipers were.

Oh ok I see what you mean now! Well I'll check that out when I go to install. There could possibly be a mechanism in the wiper motor I removed that makes the wiper intermitted? if not then I'll just install it another way.

Sorry but I don't think it's a great idea to remove the rear wiper. It's your truck so you can do whatever pleases you, but why not install your camera centered in the BMW roundel in the trunk??

Yeah, saw that some time ago.
Looked way better than this solution.
Can you tell me where to find pictures of the roundel solution?
