Cluster/Gauge Rings

Does anyone know how to contact bavarian_motorwerks or know if the aluminum cluster/gauge rings are still available from him. Ebay has him listed as "no longer a registered member".

Also, what are the advantages and/or disadvantages of the aluminum rings (metal) over the titanium rings (plastic)?

Are there any other resources for getting these?

Simple anwser - the plastic ones simply look cheap. We offer the aluminum pieces, I have 1 set left in stock at the present moment:

Am interested to find out from you about the kidney grill on the pic (slightly matt chromed). I have been trying to look for it on the net. Do you have it available? also looking for these items:
1) replacement LED lights for the angel eyes
2) Kidney Grill and air-intake grills

The picture is from a 2005 X5 with titanium grilles, available from your local dealer. If needed, we can source them for you.

As for the Angel Eyes, we do not carry them, but Dave@CustomAngelEyes or JLevi can offer them for you.

thanks for your reply. The dealer here in Singapore charges very high prices (they are exclusive). They wanted about US$ 125 per grille so 1 pair would cost US $ 250. Would you be able to source?

kvin, I live in the philippines and the titanium colored grills together with the intake cost a lot here! I think more than 400 usd for everything. If tom can source you original ones that are cheaper, please let me know. Thanks

Hmmm, they used to have them with a "buy it now" price of $20. Here is all I found for them now LINK.

Here is another option for you LINK. They look like the same rings but are at a $19.99 "buy it now" price. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. I'm not sure about the ones Tom linked, the pic shows the wrong shape. Make sure you get the aluminum ones whatever you do.

Good eye. The picture is e46 specific (only one handy), but the rings you get are intended for the e39 & X5 gauges.

I got them from EAS and they do look awesome. Easy install. Took a little review of the manual though and some glue to reseal the dash.
