4.8 exhaust on 4.4i

You have the N62 engine and I have the older m62 engine the pipings and angles may be the same . worst case scnenario the muffler shop can weld the pipes to fit the openings to your resonators if the 4.8 exhaust pipes are bigger than your 4.4i.
go for it its a nice project also get the the 4.6/4.8 is valence and side caps, and aluminum brushed running board to complete the look if you don't already have it . pm me if you have any any more questions

Sorry i am new to this board and do not know how to PM you. I do have some other queustions though. Did the exhausts come with the tips. and how much better did the exhaust sound. Was it louder deeper. If you have a sound or video clip that would be great. Did it feel like you gained or lost any hp. If you are standing behind the x5 while idling is it a noticible difference. Do you wish you went after market or are you glad with the stock 4.8 exhaust.

did you say you paid 900 for all the parts you needed. any more info would be great i want to get a new exhaust asap. I am tired of the old one. I really want the 4.8 exhaust especially for the tips. I want the dinan but i do not like the four smaller tips i like the 2 larger tips better.
Thanks in advance
