BOV Dump Valve?
does anyone know if there are any dump valves  that work with the x5 3.0 turbo diesel?Thanks simon

There is a blow off valve on the diesels and you should be able to hear it sometimes when backing off the power. The sound is fairly muffled and infrequent.

i know all turbos have RECIRC BOV's but does any on know of a VTA (vent to air)

boys please No not dump valves are you trying to make it sound like a Scooby.
which of course a diesel never will. What do you reckon the benefit will be from a dump valve many believe even on a STI Scooby it really does not add anything.

its cos ive got a scooby! lol lmao
and i miss the sound. i heard a couple of golfs and pug306d with one on. turbo keeps spooled up between gear changes, really noticable in the scooby (fully modded btw).

Ah well I only had a WRX Wagon fitted with PPP. The guys over on SIDC told me not to bother fitting a dump valve as it would make no real difference.
Have you been over to www.x5drivers.co.uk yet.
