Unhappy Bumper Removal
I have a 2002 X5 3.0i, and i was in a small fender bender, it from behind. There seems to be no visible damage to the back bumper except for a small paint scrape, and the right side of the bumper has been pushed in. It looks like it just needs to be pulled out a bit to match the other side. I do not want to take it to an autobody shop and spend hundreds just to fix it. I just need to pull it out a bit. I was wondering if anyone knew how to pop off the bumper, and even it out? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

search for the PDC retrofit or the BMW Hitch install..

Kevin (PersonaNonGrata) has a great writeup that includes detailed instructions on how to remove both front and rear bumpers for the PDC retrofit.
