Jerky change from 3rd to 4th when driven hard

My 4.8 has a nasty habit of being really 'jerky' only from 3rd to 4th gear (auto) when driven hard either through the auto box or using the shifter. I have had a number of pm's from another 4.8 driver and it appears that this is not uncommon and he has already spoken to the dealer re this problem with no real answeror solution.

Has anybody else had this problem, if so do you have an answer or fix?

Thanks

Hmm, odd that it is th 3-4 change. Is it only on the upshift, or downshift as well? If the dealer is giving you nothing, I would look at maybe changing the trans oil out for a different weight...just a thought though, don't quote me on it

It's only on the upshift and mainly when you're 'giving it some' (as we say!)

I reset the gearbox etc using the keys as often as I remember but that has little effect.
