Location of the assist module

Where is the assist module located or what does it look like?

If I just unplug it will it be disabled?

Ok so it looks like my bluetooth ULF module connects to the assist module via a coax cable?

I guess the real question is how do I turn-off the assist module?

I received a wrong phone # call today through my bmw assist. I asked the person for the # he called. It happens to be the # for my car. I called it back and it rings my car. Is this correct? Who is paying for these calls?
