Angry Dimples in my hood

OK Guys, help me out here. I noticed 3 dimples in the downslope of my hood in the area between the roundel and the kidney grills. One is almost dead center bleow the roundel and the other two are above the kidney grill on the passenger side, exactly in line with the horizontal lines of the grill. WTF? I can't believe it's a defect, I know every inch of my girl. I have no fookin idea. I didn't hit anything, nor can I imagine what you could possibly hit that would cause dimples there. They almost look like parking lot dings, but there?!?!?! They are small, not even the size of a dime, if that large. You can't see them if you look straight on, only visible at an angle. I'll try to take pics tomorrow and post the pics before my lease is up in '08 Any ideas?
