x5 climate control?
I've had this car over 2 years and this has been bugging me forever but I've never got around to asking about it. Is there a way to have the x5 remember that you turned off the climate control on your last trip? Everytime I turn my vehicle on the climate control automatically turns on. Thanks.

Nope. This is a common thing. Even if you turned off the controls before shutting off the ignition, when you start back up the control is set to 1 bar. I have on occasion noticed that they have stayed off but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it.

It can be tied to key memory. It changes for our different keys along with seat, steering wheel and mirror settings.

I run HVAC in manual mode, 90% of the time...
for the few times I have "climate control" on, I punch it off and return to Manual before turning off car. Not handy, but it then "comes on" upon restart in the manual mode and at whatever temp I turned it off at. GL,mD
