Help Need a good parts guy/ headlight plug needed

Anyone have a suggestion about who I can talk to (a knowledgable bmw parts guy) about getting the plug that plugs into the headlights on a 2004+ X5 w/xenon. I've been told that the bmw parts computer does not have them but they may have them with other random plugs at the parts department. The dealer near me gave me no help, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If this route does not work out, any suggestions for a junk yard that may have x5's.

Thanks in advance

You can buy the plugs from BMW! Who ever your dealing with is not using the BMW parts system correctly. If you can get me a photo of the Plug I will get you the part numbers.....

the plug set up is different with the facelift headlights. Pre-2004 there were 3 separate plugs (one for high beam, one for low beam, and one for turn signal), on the 2004+ headlights there is only one plug that plugs into the headlights. I need this plug, I dont know how to describe it well, but its the only wires plugged into the 2004+ headlights.

Most plugs are available from BMW as they do repair kits etc for vehicles that have been accident damage and in need of certain items like you require to repair! I recently done a SMG paddle shift conversion on my 4.6is and I purchased every item, wires, plugs, pins, original cable wrap tape, and the complete setup from BMW. At first they told me the items I need are not available and unique to the vehicle. So I then changed my BMW parts guy to a friend in another dealership who had the original parts system at his home. On spending an hour or so with him and viewing the BMW schematic system, I found that every item I required was available and it all cost only a few pounds/dollars. A lot of BMW dealers are not interested in helping with items like this as (A) they take too long to find and (B) the guy behind the counter does not have the brains or interest in helping.

Yea, the parts department near me took over an hour to figure out how to order the titanium front bumper grills. They are clueless, i wanted to hop over the counter and do it myself.

Yeah heard plenty of those stories before, not just with BMW but most parts departments. Best I can do buddy is if you or someone can get me pic, then I'll do my best to get the part number!!! Only other option is like you mentioned, go to a BMW salvage/junk yard and cut the headlight plug off a wrecked one.
