Anyone see this on Ebay! looks like a copy of ACS bumper.

Is ACS bumper fiberglass? I'm sure it's cheaper which mean the fitment probably sucks. Just though I'd share. FYI I'm an ebay whore untill I get all my face lift parts bought:eek: http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-X5-X-5-FRONT...QQcmdZViewItem

Hey Silver 5, when you had all of your trim painted, do they sand it smooth or is there still a texture to the plastic?? What did it cost you??

ACS front apron is not Fibre Glass.

Judging from the pic the Ebay one is a copy there is no slot a bottom right for the ACS badging.

In respect of the trim questions all my painted trim, the arches and running boards are finished smooth, but this is down to the quality of the workmanship and the preparation. It holds up really well no chips or scuffs.

Body kit looks decent. i wouldn't get it if it was fiberglass...

X5Dawg and Boston> I had my E46 328i moldings painted. I'm sure it the same material/texture as the X5 but I had the shop lightly sand the trims and they used flex agent with paint. Also had 3 coats of clear coat. The molding never chipped or scratched. I had it for about 2.5 years and eventually sold the car. The dealer charged me $200 for paint and install back in early 2000.

2nd that. My paint has held up just fine since march. We'll see how it holds up after the winter. Mine was $200-$300 and is smooooth.
