Dinan Throttle Body

Anyone here change out their throttle body? I am interested in more crisp low end acceleration. Will this help any? (06' 4.4).

I have an '06 4.4 that has the TB, CAI and exhaust installed on it. It seems to have some more pep, but I haven't confirmed that on paper or with a stopwatch. It also seems to have more low end torque where it will muscle through certain RPM ranges rather than downshift.

Thx. My SA has a 06' 4.4 that he changed the TB, CAI, and exhaust to Dinan. It was def faster than mine and more responsive. I prob will do it.
Thx again.

I also did the CAI, TB, and exhaust... No question that there's an appreciable improvement in power. You won't regret it!

I'm guessing it just won't happen for our X's, ever. Not enough demand compared with other models. They've been saying it's coming soon for almost 3 years now... Sure is a bummer, but I can certainly understand their priorities. I'd love for Dinan to prove me wrong...

One last prod. You guys specifically notice low end/take off differences with these mods?

FWIW. Spoke with Dinan again. This time I spoke with the Tech Dept.
Clearly they are developing 04-06' software. Still no timetable. He states
they have obvoiusly been at work on other projects and hacking the 06'
CEU to make things work. No mention of testing yet.

Did all that with my '01 X5 sport - most definitely it takes off - I have been hestitant to do on my '06 since I get 21+ hwy mileage(17 in town) - the '01 mileage has dropped <1mpg hwy(18-19), but more around town due to my loving the exhaust roar too much
