I've had a couple of cars done by Hann Kim @ Song's Tint Masters. IMHO, by far the best work possible.
On my E63, I went with Huper Optik 60% all around (including windshield), 30% on the sunroof. On my E53, the side windows were done by the dealer, but I had Hann do the panoramic sunroof in 30% and the windshield in 60% Tell him Gene (650i and X5) sent you, he will take good care of you. I have a factory tint job, so if I wanted to get it darker can they just tint over the factory or do they have to remove it and then re-tint?
How much did the job run you total for the E63?

Do you have any pics of your X5 tinted out? I'm still debating the %. I want to redo what's currently on there, I want it more uniform around the entire X. I'm thinking 35-40% around (not into that real dark look). Anyone here have 35-40% tint on their X? Thanks. Last edited by jeffreyd; 10-25-2006 at 08:03 PM.

Nope, no pics. If you have the factory tint, he can match it for the drivers doors.
Just make an appointment, he'll take good care of you.

Mikes Tint Shop in OC
Go to "Mike's Tint Shop" in Anaheim. He's been featured in many magazines and has the experience of an old man but still a nice guy. I went to high school with the dude back in OC but now live in SF/Bay Area. Look up his web site and you'll see what I'm talking about.
PS - Tell him his high school buddy "Pierre" recommended him for tint. -Pierre 2003 X5 4.4i Sport Black/Black
