I think they look great, but I'd have a hard time paying more than $200 for 29 cents worth of metal...

They are $165 on ebay. Yeah quite expensive but they are precision machined, plus the etching is good and they would obviously be polished etc to a smooth surface.

I think they look like training wheels. Of course, training wheels are precision-machined as well (at least the good ones are...).

I got a set of brushed aluminum SMG paddle for our M3 from Bimmer Performance Store. They had a sale for $160....best upgrade for SMG....much easier to shift....the OEM plastic SMG paddle was starting to chip and there are scratches at the back of the paddle....The aluminum is much more durable.

Sorry not to concur with most people on this post, but I dont like the paddles at all! I feel they're a bit too prominent. I feel the stock paddles are ideal and of perfect size.
