Auxilary Heating (again...)
Hello all,
A quick question. It's my first winter with my X5 over here in France. My 4.4i is equiped with the auxilary heating. I have a small remote to set in on or off. When I set the thing on, I hear some noise from under the bonet and some hot are blows from the auxilary exhaust pipe (the small one under the left side). So I asume all is normal. Question: How long does it take to start blowing warm air in the car ? 5 mins ? 10 mins ? 15 mins? I understand that the system heats up the coolannt fluid, so I would asume that it takes a least 15 mins to start blowing warm air inside the cabine. Can you guys confirm ? I would apriciate as much feed back as possible. Many thanks and I'm very happy to have found this international forum. Bye for Now. |
