problem removing OBC MID

I was wondering if any body could provide some advice, I tried to remove MID on my x5 and the Torx screw has completley come off and it also looks like a small piece of metal has broken looking through the volume knob hole. The issue is the MID won't budge so I can't get it out. Any ideas?
