If you are just a little short on cash leasing a new x5 would take less upfront cash and since all maintenance is covered by BMW your carry cost is probably less than buying used. It would take a number of years to catch up with the upfront cash needed to purchase a used X5. In fact you might be better waiting a few more months and getting the second generation X5.
You don't want some old used X5 impacting the image of your 3 million dollar mansion right?
