I weas until Saturday when the passenger side AEs mysteriously went out I think it may be a loose wire, my mechanic will check it out tommorow and we'll see. Other than this small glitch they have been fine.

also suggestion for future versions: get rid of tap-on connectors
plugs that connect to original connectors would be so much better

Dave...it's been almost 4 months and more than a few weeks...wondering when this very favorable solution of yours for the old iBrights purchasers will be revealed?

Maybe contact him directly? I found a group buy on another forum for upgrades to AIB 2.0. I ordered a set for my E63 and Dave was gracious enough to do a "competitive upgrade" for my E53 and swapped out my Predator Ice for the new AIB 2.0.

The build quality and light level of the new version is amazing. No cheap plastic here, no silly wire taps and no yards of extra wire floating around.

I like my stuff to "be right" and I have no problem paying for quality. These new AIB's make the Predator Ice look like crap.

I have before and it's either no response or he'll say something like "production to start soon, will let you know". Odd he would do it on another forum and not do it on this one. Mind if I ask how much he charged for the competitive upgrade? Already shelled out over $300 for the old iBrights and don't think I should have to put out more considering the old iBrights did not perform as anticipated. I have no problem paying for quality either, but when I pay and don't get it, that's where I have issues.

I have not heard any update from Dave either... and am still waiting for his favorable solution to fix the issues. However, I've changed mine to stock AEs since they don't blink/flicker like the freaking AIBs.
