display problem
i have just purchased an x5 3.0 sport the problem is that the display on the radio shows broken letters is there any way to fix this problem or do you have to replace the unit thanks cosmo15555

Congratulations on the purchase. First of all, is your X5 new or did you purchase it pre-owned. If it is new, then take it to your dealership and have them replace the MID. IF it is pre-owned, do you have an extended warranty? If you do have an extended warranty, then you can take it too the dealership and have them install a new MID for about $50. I just had a new MID installed a few days ago for the same problem. Hope this helps.
