German car with Jap's sparkplugs.

I called the dealer today and they told me they only have NGK sparkplugs in stock but they have to oder bosche one. I found it is odd to have Japanese sparkplug in German car, because the original plugs I removed from the car is Bosche. Anyone know what is the comparision between NGK and Bosche on BMW? NGK is cost more that Bosche I guess it must be smoother and better. Dealer quoted me $20 bucks a piece for Bosche plug. I think this is a riff off.

NGK is optional with Bosch, more expensive generally. BMW usually has 2 suppliers for every part, keeps cost down and does not stop assembly lines when one supplier does not deliver. "Just in time" parts are delivered every day to build the days cars so the smallest glitch can stop an assemply line.
