x5 sound no picture help

Hi i have a 2002 x5 i can hear the music but no picture i cant access anything cos i cant see anything any ideas thanks

More information required to assess the problem my friend. Do you have Nav, is this a stereo related problem, when does it occur, etc?

it got sat nav its the one built in the dash it hasnt been upgraded to a new dvd rom drive it got the normal cd-rom drive, when i turn car on it used to come up so i could scroll through the menu but now nothing apperas only music comes out its just a blank black screen like its turned off.

Did you check all the fuses in the back of the truck and I think theres one in the front as well?? Check the Navigation fuse, was there any work done on the truck recently?

Could have taken a look last week I had to drive up the M18 past Leeds to York, oh well!

well i took the battery off and charged it full up
