can you buy angel eye light yet for the pre2003 x5 - i mean full headlights not in kit form

Unless you have a pair of 2000-2002 xenon headlights that you can open and modify yourself, you'd have to purchase from someone else who has already done this procedure on the 2000-2002 headlights. I'm sure Dave @ custom angel eyes would sell you a completed set of modified headlights for a price, otherwise buy a pair off ebay and do it yourself to save $$$ (instructions on the home page). Hope that answers your question.

no, not unless you upgrade your front end to the newer style which is $$$$.

The face lift costs over $4000 to do. Much cheaper to just buy pre-09/02 Xenons and modify them if you have been bitten by the bug.

thanks banana there is a company in the u.k who does it for you while you wait-i just don't know why hella has not brought out a updated headlight for the pre03 x5's like they did for the 5 series

No problem, just make sure you have a set of 2000 - 2002 headlights as the 2003's don't open. Hope it works out.

i can now get my hands on a cheap front bumper from a 2005 x5 is this all i need to fit a oem set of angel eye lights to my 20002 x5

You will also need both front wings as they are a different shape where they meet the bumper.
