i would get oem sensor is about $100 each, and i'd get them both
why? because in a few months the other will go out as well, trust me if they are the original ones their gasket leaked and let oil get on the sensor making it into a pos. the new sensors are upgraded design, you'll notice this when you change yours and put side by side old vs. new they are very common to go bad usually over 60k miles you can easily change them out yourself |

but just for my info what side do you guys think is the defective one? driver or passagger? thanks

In MB cars bank one is driver side on front engine cars not sure on BMW but it should be the same
|

if it's bank 1, then it's exhaust camshaft sensor (passenger side)

P0369 is the exhaust camshaft sensor. My advice is to replace with OEM part.
