New guy here and X owner

I searched and found your site trying to learn alittle about the X I bought. My second BMW, I have a older E36 325IA. I used to work on them years ago but got away from it. I"m mainly a VW person but still like my BMW's. I bought this mint 02 X5 4.4i with 40k on the clock, and one owner, all records and maint done and a brand new set of tires. I pretty much stole it, it was such a deal I couldn't say no. Here a few quick pics I took the day I got it. I have one question though is it comon for the inside of the rear tires to wear more than the outside.. It seems to have some negative camber to it. I took it to be alligned, but they said the camber was in spec's just the toe was out.

The car has every option but navagation. 02 4.4i sport package with charcoal headliner front and rear power seats, black chrome exhaust tips etc.

Congrats on the purchase, sounds like you have one NICE X5!! Would like to see the pics though. Also as for your question regarding tire wear, it is normal for the insides to slightly have more wear than the outer part of the tires due to the negative camber of all X5s.

:xoutpost: Nice looking X5! In fact it looks just like my '02 TiAG 4.4i except I have a gray interior.

There's plenty of information and discussion on the board regarding wheel alignment, tires, etc., pertinent to your question.

Here's a previous thread regarding tire wear:

Yeah pics didn't work on the first post but worked ok on the second. Its a unmodded car non smoker etc. The interior is a dark charcoal grey. I eventually will add som mods. First is a mod for my son. DVD in the headrest. Second CAI and chip etc. I've been looking a superchargers also. I may flip it for a 4.6is since I got it so cheap I may be able to make some change on it.
