as somebody said in another thread, no noise should be normal... i have this rattle too in my sunroof (not panoramic), exactly above my head when im driving so it really annoys me... dealer put lubricant on the railings last week, the rattle is still there, so X is back in the dealer this morning...

Same problem here. Dealer told me I have only one year warranty for squeaks and noises and offered to adjust it and charge me. Going to try another dealer under warranty before I spring.

Hi Guys

I know im thread digging here, but this is the first thread with the EXACT problem I am having - it appears its from the centre section and when its tilted the centre section isn't touching the roof (Between the two bits of the pano)

It basically feels like its just not held up against the glass hard enough, and so when you hit a bump it bounces down - is there an easy adjustment or fix for this??

Re-initialize the sunroof. Mine was strange, but once I did that, all good. Search for specific instructions. But off the top of my head;

Sunroof fully closed, cover closed. Hold the sunroof button up for like a min. The sunroof will start going through a process. Do not leg go of button till it comes back to the fully closed position like you started. Let us know.

Please... I have the same rattle and have been searching for a solution that doesn't involve the dealer replacing the cassette, but so far to no avail.

Its too dam cold here to be driving with the roof popped up just to stop the rattle, and then the heater on full bore to stop you freezing to death!

Guys. Re-initialize the pano roof. It will realign, measure closing and opening force needed and shit like that. There is also an updated pano roof seal that you can buy. Search real OEM for that.

Thanks, I tried the reset but it didn't help... I have read the posts about the seal but getting my hands on it where I am is an issue. I am also not convinced that it will fix my particular rattle. What I think I need is to drop the roof lining and then find something to tighten underneath?

If you hold the glass up with your hand, does the rattle go away?
