Angry Unlocking Problem on a Bmw x5 E53 4.4 2001

Well sometimes in the mornings i try to unlock my X5 and only unlocks the drivers seat then u press it again and it wont open the rest of the car. then u wait a min or 2 and it will open. What do you think the problem is?

Also can u make it so u can unlock the whole car on one press of the key?

How anoying is it. And sometimes when you click the unlock button twice it works but my back left door is a bit slow and after about 5 secs it unlocks. Apparantly the bmw keys will last for ever you will never need to change the batts because they recharge when its in the ignition.

Possibly a problem with your door lock actuators. I have had 2 replaced.

How much did it cost. But it only does it some times i think its more of a key thing because it depends where i am and sometimes the temp and sometimes it works fine

Same problem here, and I thought that the remote battery was weak. I've started using my spare key about two months ago, and it didn't happen since.

with my '01, it's the actuators - just arrived after having it in storage for the last 2 months - only door that unlocked remotely was the rear passenger - but it's been REAL cold out here - driver's door has been 50-50 for the last 6 months - they're just way down on my list of priorities

I've got an '01 as well and the right rear door seems to work intermittently. Any idea if the acuator replacement is a DIY. Guess I can jump out to the main page and look. Any info would be great.
