Cracks in wood trim

Anyone else had this problem? Basically they are tiny cracks in the wood trim particularly on the doors... enough to be noticeable and they run right across the trim piece. Don't seem to be ocurring on the console wood at all.

Obviously should be a warranty issue but I expect my dealer will pretend not to have ever seen it before... blah blah blah so thought I'd ask around first. Takes forever to get into a dealer around here so want to be prepared as much as possible.

I only noticed them the other day, it had been -25C or so (-13F) so kind of suspect the cold may have caused it.
