It may be because you didnt actually turn your X off! You said you came to a halt at traffic lights, then the message flashed, and when you tried to move again it was difficult unitl 4000rpm. You never actually turned your X off at the lights, so therefore the system may not have reset because you were still running!

Anyway I don't think that is normal. Can you image my self turning the car off waiting ten minutes in the middle of the street.
wonder if the transmition insurance I have cover a check up.....

No problem hope all is well!! You could get your dealer to run a diagnostics check on your X to see if it throws up any faults. Its not that expensive to run a check.

Everything seems to be normal. The car runs great.
