Help: Flat tire indicator

My wifey who is driving the car right now called me and told me that the flat tire indicator is lit up. The only problem is that the indicator is red whilst the booklet specifies that it should be yellow???!! I am looking at the US booklet so maybe there is a difference with the Euro one? I dont have access to the Euro one, so could somone who does, let me know what this means?

Thanks for your help!

Pagr 98 of MY03 X5 manual (USA)

Flat tire
If there is a tire failure with a loss of inflation failure, the red indicator lamp comes on or the message - TIRE LOW/FLAT - appears in the check Control. In addition, an acoustic signal sounds.

If this occours, reduce vehicle speed immediately and stop the vehicle in a safe location. Avoid hard brake applications. Do not oversteer. Replace the flat tire.

update

I got to check out the car and did not notice any flat tires??? The indicator was still red but went off when I pressed the flat tire resetting button below the Nav panel! I drove a bit after that to make sure that it would not go back on and it did not! This is really starting to annoy me, I have clocked about 700 miles on this brand new beemer and I am getting all kinds of strange warnings. A couple of weeks ago, it was the check control oil pressure warning that instructed me to shut off the engine. I check the oil and it was within the normal range. Then, a week or so later, the suspension control system (I think that is what its called) indicated a failure but once I switched off the engine and restarted, it was all back to normal. Then I had a cabin lighting and front windshield spray failure due to a fuse that went off. This car is really starting to annoy me, I mean if I get important warnings lighting up just randomly! Now I am more convinced that I have a lemon and I am going to take this junk back to the dealer and go for a Toyota or something!

The way it works.. unusall wheel rotation will indicate a flat tyre. this is sometimes caused by uneven tyre pressure. When this warning comes on then check tyre pressures. Inflate to the correct pressure. Once at the correct pressure, press and hold the flat tyre indicator. drive for a few minutes and the car will retain the information as its normal. If any changes happen outside the new range then the warning will come back on again. eg when you get a flat.
This process needs to be done everytime you change a tyre or put extra air in your tyres. as this will alter your stored settings. Hope that makes sense.

in my experience it lights up when youve really been driving fast and one or more wheels has lost traction it happened to me in mud and just reset went back and tried again and the light came on
