Yup, 6000 lbs, as long as there were brakes on the trailer....

If not, 1600 lbs max IIRC.

BMW does have good plans for employees. I have heard that the employees working at VPC also have similar plans.

This is a situation where it pays off to have a piece of paper with the hidden ODB functions written on it. Then you can exactly see how much fuel is left in your tank. Great story btw.

Offtopic: BTW, how do you like the D2x ? I was a nikonian in heart and soul but got fed up with waiting for the successor for the D100 (after having owned the D1x, D1h (noisy beast), D100, D70,...) and jumped ship to Canon with the 20D and matching 1.4 and 2.8 glass ....do you have a gallery somewhere ?

No gallery yet. Hmmm, What do I think about the D2X? Well, it's one amazing piece of equipment. The color is fantastic,...great auto WB sensing, etc, etc. It's really a 2 camera in 1 workhorse. I have my website built (www.MyEasyPhoto.Com), but yet to lauch it,...still working out some details. I have 2 D70s and D2X. Use my D-SLRs as a homebased photo business. I mostly do on-site event photography,...Mother's Day, Birthdays, Bike Events as they produce (lots of impulse buying),...and a wedding here in there.

I run 3 printers on location formatted to print 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 and use Express Digital software.

I bought a 20D as a second D-SLR right after my first D70. The 20D is one awesome D-SLR and the only reason I don't shot canon is because I had already bought 1 SB-800 Speedgun. Since there is no logical way tooperate two formats, I returned the 20D to Bestbuy (they event gave me full credit) and bought another D70. I picked up the D2X on 28 Mar 05, and have since bought some fast glass 17-55 and 28-70 F2.8. The 17-55 F2.8 may possibly be the best lens in the world for event photography. Truely amazing.

I have one more fast lens to buy 70-200 - F2.8,...and I'm done with glass. Will look to get the D100 successor or another D2X in the near future. Hoping to sell the D70s soon.

Well, I had a 70-200 VR when I was using Nikon and I can tell you this: it's the best Nikon lens I ever used, sharp, fast, very nice bokeh. It almost matched my 85 1.4 which is the best prtrait lens Nikon ever made. You will never regret you bought this lens.
