Seat heaters don't work

When I try to switch the seat heaters on, the three lights stay on for a couple of seconds, and then turn themselves of. Anybody had the same experience?

I got a 2004 X5 3.0d by the way.

Haven't heard of that one yet. Sounds like a dealer visit is in order...

Seems like it's defective, bring it in for service.

One thing you may want to check first is the connectors and make sure they're connected. I'm not sure exactly where they are, but I'd start by looking under the seat. GL!

The heaters have worked fine since I bought the car a month ago, until I tried to switch them on today. And it is the same on both front seats. Guess I'll have to visit the dealer as metioned here.

It was happening to me

then..

now it works but it burns my ass and I have to turn it off really fast.

I dont use it anymore or it will probably not only burn me but my seat.

Found a blown 25A fuse. The seat heaters work like a charm again! (Hope it will last...)
