There are three...upper for turn signal, then two lower for brake and rear lights. I replaced the lower two (green and black).

I also have had this common problem. Here is the article that I followed to fix mine. I did the solder trick..Its been working great ever since, and saved $$ too.

Ughhhhh!! Now the rear light and brake light are not working at all!!!!!!!

These lights are going to drive me to drink!
