4.8is chrome replica wheels on ebay Ques about them

the question i have is that these replicas have a negative offset of 42 the stock ones are 45. How will neg 42 offset affect my X5. and how will it ride an look. Also has anyone here purchased these wheels yet and if so how do you like them?

i called the seller and was told 3 mm would not make a difference but i am still skeptical. does any know what the offset is on the 4.8 oems?

If you guys are talking about the Euro Tech wheel, I spoke with the guy a few minutes ago and was not comfortable with what he was saying. I'm just going to get mine chromed. I've always been uneasy about replica wheels.You can get your OEM wheels done for the same price as a replica.................Phil

I just bought 4 replica 20 inch wheels on ebay. They look nice, but two of the wheels are messed up. One has a chip and the other one has a flat corner. I bought it out of Canoga park, Ca on ebay. They are blaming it on ups dropping it! I am pissed... watchwho you are buying it from, these guys has 99.9 positive feedbacks! Now they are offering me a pick up by ups, and once they get they get their ups claim , then they will decide on what to do with my wheels! Crazy

I've heard that 95% of the time when a replica is defective, the seller blames it on the shipping company. This doesn't suprise me!!!! This only validates my thoghts on replica wheels. Seems like everybody is making wheels these days. You can damn near go to a drive thru rim shop now days. Where is the integrity?.....................Phil

I bought mine from Lakeshorewheels and had no problems. Well sort of, I got three wheels in four days and the forth wheel came on the fifth day. But they look perfect.

They were replicas. I used discount tires as a middle man. That way I can get my 20 switched to my 17 for free whenever I need too.
