Realchef's X5 Neiman Marcus is definitely one of the nicest ever made IMHO. Here is a blurb about it from the BMW Magazine back in 1999. What's funny is the photo shows the right color, but wrong combo (no titanium trim). Someone mentioned mahagony, which I think is wrong. The exterior is Impala Brown, interior beige, and it has the light poplar wood trim which was pretty common.

Wow, thanks. I like it. It is the rarest color. Only 35 were made. I really tend to gravitate towards the Mahagony these days.

Where did you find the sales ad?? Been looking for one for years now. Have ALL the paperwork, even gas receipts, except the ad!! Can you tell me the mag's date?

I posted the original sales stickers on a previous thread. The car's went out at 100% options.

I found it on a disk from a scan a while back, so I'll have to check for you and will let you know.

You should scan all the original stuff to make into a nice write-up and ask the administrators to stick it on the home page! I'd think that OE rare BMW's would be of interest on this board! IMHO, I'm amazed that apparently you're the only one here with a rare X5 given all the Individual editions that were made. Still no one with a Maritime edition which I'd love to see.

If the admins deem it so, I don't see a problem with it. It would be cool to see the Maritime, NM etc... doumented in one place. Along with some of the real top shelf cars from other members. That's what a club is about. Passing knowledge of a shared interest.

I have all documentation, and some quality photos. I have added a few accessories, but of no serious consequence.

Yeah that would be great. If you have scans from the original Neiman catalog that would be even better. The stuff I posted just recently unfortunately is all that was present in that issue, just the short blurb. When I have time I'll scan the X5 security brochure and some actual photos of one maybe for a similar write-up.

hey everyone new to the forum, I know this is an old thread but I just picked up my 02 4.6is Imola Red with Imola Red interior couple nights ago, I only snapped a few pics. As soon as the LED interior lights come in a will take some nice pictures :-D
