I agree with JCL. That is indeed very incompetent, but I doubt she meant to do it.

And, please, let's not talk about keying anything...

Remarkable "parking job", but keep in mind, 95% of the drivers out there in WalMartWorld have very few driving "skills"; that and the older gang is increasing in population though not necessarily in awareness, lol! Not sure a mugging is in order, either: she is someone's Mom/Grandmother.

Life is short, but that pic is a testimonial to parking a Long ways away and taking a nice 30-60 second stroll, imo.

Yeah, parking out of the way is how my poor car had her first run in with a stupid driver. I parked at the edge of a parking lot with no one around, went to leave, and some woman who had been parked over 50meters away ended up turning 270 degrees and backing straight into my driver's side door. When I saw my poor car lift up and then fall back down I went ballistic! Then I saw her look back and start to put the car in gear, and I was like, no way! That's when I went over to tell her to stop and she rolled her window up when I was trying to talk to her. Then I sat on her hood to make sure she didn't leave.

Anyway, I don't think the old woman parked so poorly intentionally, and no, she didn't end up hitting me, and quite frankly the fact that there were plently of open parking spots doesn't matter either - it's the principle. The fact that she either didn't care enought to straighten herself out after parking because she figured I could get out some other way, or was simply unaquainted with a straight line and how to park next to it is what matters. I mean, just be a little bit considerate, is that too much to ask?

Been there, experienced that. So i completely feel you. I've learnt to control my anger though in this kind of situation. lol. Believe me, you would be surprise to learn how many incompetent drivers are out there driving among us. So calm down

Another thing to watch out for at parking lots of shopping centres are those kids who collect the trolleys. I almost got hit on the side by a whole row of trolleys last week when driving out of the parking lot. Ignorant bastards.

My favorite is when your sitting in a parking stall and someone pulls up next to you and opens there car door into the side of your vehicle while your sitting in it. I have had this happen twice, once was at an auto auction and it was a dealer - you would think he would know better or at least say sorry but ....nope... just went along his marry little way. What I have come to understand over the years of driving nice cars is that for some people a car is transportation only - doesn't matter how much they paid for it or what kind of car it is.....its just a car. My parking lot at work is full of high end car's - its sad to see there condition but the people I work with drive them for there names not because they appreciate the car.

I'm all for making 1) the driving test much harder 2) making people have to take retests 3) (sounds harsh) but taking 70+ yo's off the road.

Keying sucks... Someone keyed my trunk lid a while back, and I wasnt even parked badly or anything. It's stupid. It causes a lot of damage. what's the point?

They need to be much more strict. Some people, especially some of the kids at my school, really shouldn't be on the road.

I agree with making the driving test harder & retesting yearly once you hit 70 or so. My grandfather was blind in one eye, couldn't hear and could hardly walk and at age 89 was issued a new licence for 4 years. My uncle owns a body shop and my grandfather would sneak his car in all the time so we didn't know he had been in another accident. He hit cars in parking lots all the time and would just leave. Our favorite!!!! When he passed away we sold the car to a guy in my office - I see it in the parking lot all the time - seems like evertime I look at it there is more paint chipping off the bondo.
