Smile Gotta Love It

I had to replace my radio module because water got in the back near the battery. My dealer told me it was 500.00 for the module and 375.00 for the labor. I could not believe that me and my brother did all of this for 175.00 and in 15 minutes. Yes, 175.00 the cost of a radio module we found on ebay. Incredible. The BMW Dealer is a piece of work.

Got to love OEM labor and parts costs.

It sounds like you should report him to BMW, its clear that his labor rate was a rip off.

Obviously you never called BMW NA and heard the "Dealers are all independent agents and we have no control...." spiel.

Guess you are right, but then you should report them to the state consumer affairs commission. The dealer has a poster labor rate and is not suppose to charge more.
