A week ago or so I was able to update my navigation system thanks to all the good advise that I got from you guys! Since I am still a newby in terms of my X5 I come to you again to pick on your wise minds. The SES light came up. I went to Autozone and they scanned the system and told me that I had 2 error codes showing up. Below is the information about the errors: TROUBLESHOOTING P1353 Ignition coil B primary circuit malfunction TROUBLESHOOTING P0128 The PCM has determined that the input from the coolant temperature sensor indicates a temperature value that is below the thermostat regulatiing temperature. Do you have any ideas on how should I fix these issues? I looked at the part´s cost and they were around 40bucks for the coil. Today I went to a BMW authorized repair shop in Atlanta and they told me that they could Change the oil and filter for $220 and change the plugs, filters and oil for $640, which I personally think it is TOO MUCH, and the last time I checked my lastname was not "Rockefeller". I would really appreciate any information that you could provide me about the items above. I am also considering buying an scanner since to have first hand information on what´s going on; otherwise Mechanics will always try to find "something" to fix or maintain. I look forward to hearing from you!! Many thanks!! |
