My x5 has developed an irritating habit after the battery went flat (after leaving the ignition on while washing and polishing car - idiot thing to do ). Now every time I start the car it 'bings" and tells me the range left in the tank. It never used to do this except when it was down to the last 50Km. Does someone know how to reset this ? Dealer said hold down the BC switch on the indicator stick but all that does is shows "prog" and it would seem it is waiting fro some response/input.... any ideas? |

Don't hold down the BC switch...just press it a few times until it is blank.
