Are tail lights hard to replace?

I have a 2003 x5 4.4 that I would like to do an upgrade on the tail lights. I was wondering how hard it is to replace the tail lights or should these be done by the stealers?

Here is what I was thinking of putting on.

Piece of cake.......if you have ANY mechanical skills (know how to operate a screw driver ) you can do it. Pop open the rear panels to access the 4 screws, remove screws & rear light, install new light, replace screws and your done (to state the obvious make sure you remove & reattach the bulb housing).

Get rid of the yellow bulbs while you are doing the replacement. Put in some Stealth bulbs.

Steath bulbs?? I need to look into those. Sounds interesting. I think these taillights look pretty awesome, but your right the yellow bulbs can use some improvements.
