I managed to get it lowered by 'just' 5mm. My dealer couldn't go any further since the car is being supplied by BMW UK and they needed to report back to BMW that all checks and settings were as they were supposed to be. I might be able to get them to take it a little further once I've had it for a few thousand miles.
Next step is to get the front windows tinted to match the rears, then I'm still considering the resonator mod.

Congrats on your same but new ride... It is exactly like mine except for the running boards which I'm thinking of doing as well..they look great were they factory install and if so how much extra?

Wicked 4.8is there Steved. My next X5 will definitely be a 4.8.
Where do you recommend getting front windows tinted as I wish to do this to my 04 4.4 (around London area preferable). Also can anyone recommend a good headrest monitor and dvd installer and who does'nt charge an arm and leg for the previledge along with a supplier of an upgraded digital tv tuner to replace my oem BMW analogue one. Regards
