Rattle gone with seat down

It might be the center seat belt retraction/lock mechanism. I'm not sure if there is anything you can do about it though. Try buckling up the center seat belt and yank hard/quick on it until it locks. Drive around with it that way to see if the rattle is still there.

It can also be the center arm rest. To verify, try lowering the center armrest, the noise should go away.

I just found my rattle - the rear seat cushion was not properly fastened down.
