285 tires on front wheels?
My X5 has sport package with Michelin Diamaris tires 285 rear and 255 front. My front ones will need to be replaced soon while the rear ones are still very good. The rear ones are only a year old. I can get 2 new diamaris 285 from a friend for a very good price. Do you guys can think of any reason I should not mount them on the front wheels?

Your cornering will stink with excessive tire roll.

Probably too wide for the front wheels. You should get the same wheels as the rears if you want to do that.

How about 275s on the front??
I was going to put 275 on the front and 315 on the rear with some 20' rims
Would this set up give me too much roll or does anyone have a better suggestion? Thanks! |
