BMW Extended Warranty and Maintenance - Good deal?

well its just the regular extended warranty blah blah thats offered from bmw so i assume that if you own any bmw thats still under its original warrenty then you can buy it. Go ahead and give Josh a call. I talked to him also when i bought mine. Great guy.

It seems that everyone agrees the extended maintenance is a good deal. Any thoughts on the extended warranty?

He is no longer at Macon BMW, but is involved with BMW.

Give MaconBMW a call; I forget the contact's name: maybe a
search of "MaconBMW" will turn up theard with new contact's
name.

The only glitch maybe that some dlrs will not sell an Ext Maint or
Ext Warr. over the phone...mine wanted to see my car and "key it"
when I got a one yr ext maintenance.

As to whether the 2 yr 2OP Warranty, (not the Maint deal), is
worth it or not, that's up to you. Is a buck thirty a month a good
value for some protection? Maybe, maybe not. Another possiblity
for Ext Warranty is Warranty Direct. See web; I have one, have
not had to use it and it is available for a longer period, more coverage
and more miles. I have no connection with them, other than having
one.

Great shots though.. OK back to the subject at hand. What is a "fair" price for the extendend maintenance plan. I am not the orig owner but it is under factory warrenty still. I am guessing there is not problem obtaining the maintenance plan as long as I do it before the fact warrenty expires. Correct?

Also, I bought from them (ABOVE Dealer is the MaconBMW) and Josh did it over the phone and it took like 5 mins and I have both plans, he faxed the reciepts and in a couple of days I recieved my papers in the mail.
