Decided to do the AE mod

Have few question to those who have made it.
It it a difficult "DIY" mod? Have read the instructions and there´s alot of wires to conect
How long does it take to perform the mod including banked lights procedure?
Does the AE are always on while the car in on, or it it possible to make a wire conection making it possible to use the AE together with lights?
Finally which are the best AE on the market? don´t want those who look too much blue.
