Ok, upon everyone's recommendations, I went out and bought some Icons - actually found them at our local Auto Zone. Got a problem though - the driver's side 24 inch blade does not touch the windshield in the center of the blade. I sprayed the windshield this morning and almost wrecked bc the area in my line of sight did not get wiped at all!!!

Any ideas what might be wrong here?? Anyone else have this problem??

No, I was just going to post how great they are. We had some snow this morning and they hug my windshield so well that I used almost no washer fluid today. They almost cleaned the windshield on their own. No frozen wiper arms...I give them

You should have noticed this when you installed them! Did you remove the plastic retaining clip about a 1/3 of the way down on the arm? This clip is to hold the stock wiper blade, which you won't need with the Icon and it will interfer (as you found out) if you don't remove it.

Dawg, you have to take a pair of pliers and pull out that U shaped clip on the drivers side arm. When you do, all is good.

From my original post at the top of this thread:

"Note: on the driver's side you need to remove the retaining clip (that held the stock wiper) from the middle of the arm...takes 5 seconds with pliers."
