Smile I'm NEW to xoutpost.com and THANK YOU

I just recently located your website and let me say that it's like I've struck GOLD! Soo much useful and helpful information for my '01 X5.

The issues I had, some have been answered from just reading...such as:

1) reseting the service/inspection lights-DONE (found here)

2) rear tailight issue-DONE (found here)

3) tires- do you recommend any? michelin vs. goodyear?

4) inspection- what's the best/cost effective approach I can take here. I don't have much mechanical knowledge and BMW is expensive. (Note: my extended warranty won't cover the inspections)

5) oil service light (yellow)- I believe it may just be that I need to put more oil in it, however, i knwo this is stupid (please forgive) but I can't locate the dipstick, I've looked and can't find. I will try again tomorrow.

AGAIN THANK YOU SOOO MUCH, THIS WEBSITE ROCKS!
