Hello all, just a note to introduce myself. I am the proud owner of a 2003 3.0., Titanium Silver, Black interior, 46K miles. Purchased CPO two years ago in Ft. Collins CO and recently moved to Hawaii courtesy of the US Air Force. I have done absolutely no upgrades/modifications to the vehicle and probably won't with the possible exception of some audio upgrades (IPOD integration) and wheels.

Have a new 6' long key scratch on the passenger side courtesy of some unknown in a mall parking garage. Deep enough to require repaint ($1,200). Other than that everything looks good.

Considering purchasing the extended maintenance plan, but haven't figured out the math yet. Brakes were replaced a few months ago so not sure if It's a good investment. I'll probably buy it just for the peace of mind.

BMW of Honolulu is the only dealer around but they seem adequate.

I've enjoyed reading . . . . everything. I've discovered I have a lot to learn.

Thanks for a great forum!
