BMW has a special price for NATO personnel, we don’t have to pay the (VAT) 19% German tax, the Canadian government made all the arrangements, the on only problem is that we have to take possession of the vehicle here in Europe for at least 120 days and ship it back to the US to avoid import taxes , It cost $980.00 and it will go with the new BMW going to for the dealers in the US.

ahhh!!! this is a paradox

if you can get the car for the lower price, and can sell your current X for a slight higher margin, go for it. but the E70 still has many things to be updated; and the waiting game isn't fun. But you still have a new E53 to play around with. Remember the joy of purchasing it and bringing it home, and spending more time with it than with your wife?

Does that include Marine replacement insurance? Make sure you get the whole coverage as yours will be on deck unprotected unless you want to pay a lot to have it containerized but its really expensive Europe to US. Mine was covered in dried salt after I picked it up in Newark from Belgium.

Ifly, I will ship mine with E.H Harms, they are the ones that ship the European deliveries back to US, I terms of insurance I have USAA, I’m not sure if they have marine insurance but I will call them. Thank You

Lets see. You thinking of trading because "I’m interested on the new X5 because of the 3rd row seat option"? Hmmmmm. Makes me wonder if you should read this. http://www.xoutpost.com/regs-favs-for...lizations.html

Quicksilver, thank you for your reply. I wasn’t successful with the link, the 3rd row seat is not the only reason, even tough is the main, the second reason is the price I can get both models with a substantially discount if compare to the US.
